About Author & Artist

Matthew Hogben is an artist who likes to draw with pencil to digital art. Born in 1992, he has grown up drawing things like Pokemon, Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario. He really enjoys doing fan-art for games and films in his spare time and is constantly gaining skills in design software such as Photoshop. A lot of his work is around popular videogame characters from games including Uncharted, The Last of Us, Assassin’s Creed series, Metal Gear Solid series and loads others.Matthew has had numerous features over the years including retweets on twitter from the famous Hideo Kojima himself and other celebrities from the UK like Dynamo and Keith Lemon. He has also been featured on many of the official game company Facebook pages such as the Naughty Dog official page and the God of War official page.

One of Matthews biggest success moments was when he entered a fan-art Sony competition at Gamescom 2012 and was one to have had his art put up behind a panel of very talented people including Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans who done Little Big Planet and thatgamecompany co-founder Kellee Santiago who done Journey where they were also the ones to judge the winners and sign them. Matthew Hogbens passion for his art grows stronger every day, always aiming to take that one step closer to the max of his skills.
